With a unique ability to visualize space and design possibilities, I am passionate about prioritizing functionality, aesthetics, and overall satisfaction.
The design process can be intimidating and overwhelming, but I'm confident that I can ease any anxiety and work through any problem.
I'm dedicated to providing the expertise, guidance, and support you need from start to finish.
I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Interior Design, focusing on space planning and interior architecture. After completing an internship at an interior design firm in Portland, Oregon, I worked as a designer at a design studio in Pullman, Washington. There, I worked with various clients, including several sororities at Washington State University and University of Idaho. I also collaborated closely with builders, doing AutoCAD drafting and interior space planning.
Following my passion for homes, the building process, and design, I obtained my real estate license. Throughout my journey, I've had the opportunity to experience house flipping and even designed and built my own home. This experience gave me firsthand insight into navigating the construction process, the stress, challenges, and excitement that come with designing and building your own home. Through this journey, my appreciation for the building process has deepened, igniting a profound passion within me. Despite the obstacles, I successfully brought my vision to life, resulting in a space that reflects my unique style and that I truly love.
For twelve years, I was a stay-at-home mom to my boys. They are my life and the inspiration behind AP Home Design NW. Life took an unexpected turn, offering me the chance to work closely with a luxury home builder. Here, I rediscovered my passion for designing and hand-selecting materials for large-scale homes, paving the way for a new chapter in my life and branching out to start AP Home Design NW.
